The government has decided to have all liquor stores, meat and fish stalls, casinos, nightclubs and gambling centers closed for the Vesak holiday, government news portal reported.
Accordingly, the above-mentioned establishments would be closed till May 13.
Accordingly a circular has been sent to all the Provincial Chief Secretaries and District Secretariats informing them to implement the decision.
