Long queues at shopping outlet and supermarkets were seen on Tuesday morning as the state curfew was lifted at 6 am to be reimposed eight hours later.
“Even by 6 am - plenty of people seem to have dodged the curfew and come early,” a bystander remarked.
Visible police presence amidst swarms of people joining the existing queues was seen.
Everyone wore a mask and maintained some distance between each other in queues. (DEC)
