Mahinda to occupy seat of Prime Minister in Parliament
The Speakers office has confirmed that Mahinda Rajapaksa will be given the privileges and the seat of the Prime Minister during the next parliamentary session.
Yesterday Speaker Karu Jayasuriya called on President Sirisena to request him to reconvene Parliament. During the discussion President Sirisena had made the above request to the Speaker. The President is yet to respond to the speakers request to convene parliament.
