Man killed due to land dispute in Balangoda

A man has died after being attacked by a neighbour in Balangoda yesterday (Sept 24).

The victim had been attacked with a sharp weapon by the suspect who has been arrested and is being questioned by the Police.

The victim has been identified as 55-year old A. Gunaratne.

Investigations have shown that the two individuals had been involved in a long-standing land dispute, police said.

Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
