Man shot by gunmen in Hambantota
A 41-year-old man has been admitted to the Hambantota Hospital with gunshot injuries after being shot by two assailants this morning.
Police said the incident had occurred at about 8.30am today on the bridge situated near the Hambantota Dry Zone Botanical Gardens. The victim had been shot by two persons who arrived on a motorbike.
The injured victim has been identified as a resident of Sooriyawewa. The assailants remain unidentified and Hambantota Police are conducting investigations.
