Minister Mano Ganesan has said that the collective agreement which was signed to acknowledge the daily wage increase of estate workers should be nullified.
He added that the discussions which took place between Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and the parties in the agreement was deplorable.
Several protests were held across the country against the signing of the agreement yesterday (Jan 28).
Protests will continue to be held until the daily wage of estate workers is increased upto Rs 1000, Secretary of the Workers Struggle Centre Duminda Nagamuwa said.
