Despite Colombo district being under curfew, a large number of vehicles continue to be on the road. While many of these vehicles belong to those from essential services, authorities say some persons are trying to get about by falsely claiming they belong to essential services.
As such, authorities are now conducting stringent checks on all vehicles traveling in areas under curfew.
