The Meteorological Department has warned of rough seas off the Puttalam - Colombo and Galle - Matara areas until 12:30 pm tomorrow (Jun 20).
According to a warning by the Department, waves could rise upto 2.5 - 3 metres in height and could even reach the land.
Fisherman have been strictly warned to refrain from going out to sea during the next 24 hours starting from 12 pm today.
