Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Sri Lanka could breathe a new life into the over three decade old defunct ferry service between Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu and Talaimannar in the island nation, Indian media reports suggested. The Premier tweeted about his visit saying " My first visit to Sri Lanka will be the first stand alone Prime Ministerial visit to Sri Lanka since 1987" In the meantime Colombo was getting ready for Modi's visit with Indian flags being set up in and around Colombo .
