More than 13 kilograms of narcotics have been discovered by the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) at a residence in Seeduwa today (Jun 15).
PNB officers had initially arrested two suspects with 521 grams of heroin in the Seeduwa area after which details regarding the house had been revealed.
The house belonging to one of the suspects had been searched by PNB officers following an interrogation on both individuals.
Police had then discovered 1.5 kilos of heroin, 12.7 kilos of kerala cannabis, 500 ecstacy pills, a pistol, seven bullets, a magazine and cash amounting to Rs 108,320 at the residence.
The suspects have been identified as 29 and 32-year old residents of the Seeduwa area.
