The Election Commission (EC) has decided to deploy 143,000 public servants for counting activities of the presidential election.
Counting will take place across 1179 centres countrywide after voting closes at 5 pm for the poll on November 16.
Eligibile voters can cast their votes for any of the 35 candidates contesting this year's election, in 12,845 centres.
Meanwhile, the counting of postal votes cast by public servants in view of the presidential election will take place in 371 centres.
