The Chairman of National Transport Commission M.A.P. Hemachandra was quoted as saying that 3,000 private buses will be deployed for the festive season, government news portal reported.
He said that buses will be operated to South, Kandy, Badulla, Polonnaruwa and Trincomalee from the Central Bus Stand in Colombo.
