Legal action will be taken against 450 retail outlets raided today (Dec 23) for selling rice at higher rates than the stipulated price, the Consumer Affairs Authority said.
CAA Director General Mohamed Fawzer said that around 13,000 shops were inspected by CAA officials across the country today.
The maximum retail price for White and Red Samba and Nadu has been fixed at Rs 98 a kilo.
