A collision between a bus and a van in the Digampaha area along the Habarana road has left 22 people injured today (Aug 23).
The bus which had been heading towards Colombo from Trincomalee had collided with a van travelling in the opposite direction.
Police said the injured victims which include the van driver and other passengers have been admitted to the Dambulla General Hospital.
The Sigiriya Police are conducting further investigations into the accident.
