Mahinda Rajapaksa has said that the people cannot expect concessions from the newly formed UNP government.
Mr. Rajapaksa made these remarks following an event held in Galle yesterday (Dec 23).
Speaking on the same lines even further, he said the people cannot expect any concession from the UNP although they might be able to expect something from the other parties.
Mr Rajapaksa while pointing out that the rate of poverty has increased in the country also claimed that the people are facing severe hardships due to the excessive tax burden imposed by the government.
