A 30-year old man was killed at a betting center in Seeduwa following a conflict between two persons, Police said.

It is reported that a brawl had escalated into an assault.

The victim was admitted to the Negombo Hospital and later sucumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Katunayake.

Meanhwile, the suspect involved in the assault has been arrested by the Police.

Further investigations on the incident continue.
