The Muslim Council of Sri Lanka requested Muslims not to participate in a protest organized by the Ceylon Thowheed Jamath (CTJ) today or any other group during this pandemic, when it contravenes the health guidlines issued by the Ministry of Health.
Issuing a statement, the collective of Muslim organizations cautioned that there many be vested intrests at play that might compromise the health and security of the Muslims in Sri Lanka.
