Former Colombo Municipal Council mayor, A.J.M. Muzzammil has been appointed as the Chairman of the Central Enviornment Authority with effect from today (Jan 11).
Mr. Muzammil is expected to served in the said position for three years.
He tooks oaths before President Maithripala Siriena earlier today.
