Namal Kumara, accused of involvement in communal violence after the Easter Sunday attacks has been further remanded until January 9, 2020.
The order was issued by the Hettipola Magistrate’s Court when the case was taken up for hearing today (Dec 26).
Kumara, the Director of the Anti-Corruption Force was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department on May 13 and detained for seven months over the incident.
