The case filed against Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa and five others has been fixed for further hearing on June 07 by the Colombo High Court.
Mr. Rajapaksa and six others have been accused of money laundering and charged with defrauding Rs 30 million through the signing a business deal involving Gowers Corporate Services and another company.
High Court Judge Pradeep Hettiarachchi had ordered an adjournment motion as MP Rajapaksa had to be present during the committee stage debate of the budget in Parliament today (Apr 02).
The Parliamentarian along with Onela Iresha de Silva, Sujani Bogollagama, and Nithaya Senani were present during the commencement of today's hearing.
