Three Indian nationals who stayed in Sri Lanka breaching the emigration and immigration regulations were apprehended by a Naval troop attached to the North Central Naval Command while on patrol along Thalaimannar beach, yesterday, Navy said.
This group taken into naval custody due to their suspicious behavior was brought to SLNS Thammanna in Thalaimannar and provided with medical treatment. These three persons from Chutti Gomiya, Parasbani and Bangalore areas of India, are in the ages of 25, 26 and 37 years. The apprehended Indians were handed over to Thalaimannar Police for further investigations.
