Navy Commander receives service extension

News

President Maithripala Sirisena has granted a service extension to Navy Commander Vice Admiral Piyal de Silva.

The extension is expected to come into effect from tomorrow (Jul 14).

Silva had been appointed as Navy Commander on January 1 this year.
