Navy officers recovered 15 kilograms of C-4 explosives from the Veththalaikarni coast in Jaffna yesterday (Aug 22) evening.
The explosives which had been mixed with sand had been seized upon information received by the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID), Navy said.
The parcel containing explosives have been handed over to the TID for further investigations, Navy Spokesman Lieutenant Commander Isuru Suriyabandara noted.
