NDB bank robbed at Wattala
An unidentified man sprayed chili powder on a security guard manning the National Development Bank (NDB) in Wattala town and got away with Rs 750,000 today afternoon, police said.
The man who had arrived on a motorcycle had confronted the security guard outside the bank and got into the bank to carryout the robbery. Last week a bank in Seeduwa was robbed by a man who claimed that he will explode a grenade.
