New DIG for PM's security division
A new DIG was appointed to the Prime Minister's security division, the government news portal reported.
DIG (Logistics) at Police Headquarters, Jayantha Wickramasinghe has been appointed as DIG of the Prime Minister's Security Division (PMSD) with immediate effect, Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, Director of the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID) SSP Asanka Karawita has been appointed as Director of the PMSD.
