New secretaries appointed to three ministries

News

The appointment of secretaries to three ministries took place today, according to the Government Information Department.

Accordingly, N.A. Sisira Kumara has been appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Irrigation, Water Resources and Disaster Management while Sunil Hettiarachchi has been appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Skills Development and vocational training.

The department also noted that Mrs. Darshana Senanayake has been appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Internal Affairs and Regional Development.
