Newly-appointed Chief of Staff (CoS) of the Sri Lanka Army Major General Mahesh Senanayake, assumed office yesterday at the Army Headquarters, government news portal reported.
He is the 50th Chief of Staff of the Army after the Sri Lanka Army was raised in 1949.
