The newly appointed Commander of the Security Force Headquarters – Jaffna, Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya called on Northern Governor Suren Raghavan today (Jul 16).
The meeting took place at the Governor’s official residence, the Governor’s Office said.
Maj. Gen. Wanigasooriya succeeds Major General Dharshana Hettiarachchi who served in the North for more than two years.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
