The recently appointed 22 President's Counsels by President Maithripala Sirisena took oaths at the Supreme Court before a judge bench comprising Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya, today (May 17).
The President's Counsels, while taking the official oath, pledged to extend their services when required without failing to do so.
Judges representing the Supreme Court, Appeal Court, Colombo High Court, and the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court were also present during the occassion.
In addition, the families of the Judges and the newly-sworn in President's Counsels were also present during the ceremony.
