Nine persons including Kalutara Pradeshiya Sabha member Manoj Ekanayake have been arrested over two threatening incidents in Moronthuduwa today (Jul 15).
According to the police, the suspects had forcefully entered two houses in the area and had threatened the residents who had filed a police complaint afterwards.
Among the arrested persons were seven women, police said, adding that they would be produced before the Panadura court in due course.
