Steps are taken to ensure that students who are sitting for GCE Advanced Level (AL) exams will not face any obstacles due to curfew imposed in the Western Province , Commissioner General of Examinations Sanath Pujitha said.
He said that under the current circumstances that prevail in the country with the quarantine curfew in force, the examinations department has taken adequate steps to conduct exams without any difficulties. “The Department has taken all measures to keep students and teachers safe in this regard,” he added.
He also added that a special train service and bus service will be provided only for the students sitting for the Advanced Level Examination and exam invigilators.
