Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said that the United National Front led alliance nor Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa has not entered into any secret or public agreement with any political party or organization in the North.
Addressing a meeting held in Jaffna yesterday (Nov 3), the Prime Minister said that Sajith Premadasa has publicly stated his policies while inviting all political parties in the North and East to help establish a modern and developed Sri Lanka in line with those principles.
The Prime Minister further stated that his party has come up with a credible programme for both the North and the South.
At a rally in support of Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa in Kilinochchi, the Prime Minister said that due to the correct decision taken in January 2015, freedom, justice and development spread throughout the country. He added that as a result, the North and East areas have also benefitted.
Further he said a number of special projects have been launched to provide relief to the people of the North and East who have been affected by the war.
The Prime Minister said that the establishment of Independent Commission throughout the country had created a secure and free environment.
He added that the establishment of the Office of the Disappeared and the Compensation Office of the Disappeared had begun to provide relief to all Sri Lankans affected by the war.
Prime Minister Sajith Premadasa said that the opportunity to decide whether to pursue this program and ensure the development and justice of the freedoms, or to bring back the Rajapaksas to power, would be depressed. As the people.
