NPC Member Bathiudeen resigns

All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) Northern Provincial Councilor Rifkhan Bathiudeen has resigned from his post as a PC Member, 

in his letter to the Council's Chairman, he has stated he is resigning on the instructions of his party. He had stated that the party can now appoint the person who has polled the next highest preferencial votes in the last Provincial Council Election. 

Rifkhan Bathiudeen is the brother of Industry and Commerce Minister Rishard Bathiudeen. 

He served 3 1/2 years as an NPC Member
