Student who engage in unruly behaviour at the conclusion of the GCE O/L exams will be liable to punishment under the Examinations Act, the Commissioner General of Examinations said.
Issuing a statement ahead of the conclusion of the GCE O/L exams, the Examinations Department urged all students to disperse peacefully once the examination is concluded.
The Department said that any nuisance to the other candidates or cause of damage to private property would even be liable to their examination results being cancelled.
All officers in-charge of police stations island-wide have been informed of this while mobile patrols are to be deployed around all examination centres, the statement said
The GCE O/L exams which commenced on Dec 2 will conclude on Dec 12.
