One suspect has been arrested over the murder of a couple in Devahuwa, Galewela on April 15.
The suspect has been identified as the brother of the woman who was found dead with cut wounds at a residence along with her husband.
Meanwhile, a gun and a knife which were believed to have been used in the murder was discovered near a river in the area.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the murder had been committed as a result of a land dispute, police said.
