One individual died while three others were injured in a shooting that was carried out in Grandpass at 8 am today (Dec 26).
According to the Police, the victim has been identified as Dinesh Eranga, a 32-year old residing at the Henamulla housing complex.
The three individuals who sustained injuries in the shooting are currently receiving treatment at the Colombo General Hospital.
Police suspect that the shooting was carried out by an inidividual named 'Bluemandal Sanka’ who is alleged to have been connected to several underworld activities.
Granpass police are investigating further into the incident.
