One dead in Mawanella earth embankment collapse

One person was killed and two others injured after an earth embankment collapsed on them in Mawanella this morning. 

The area which collapsed had been under construction, according to reports. 

The injured were admitted to the Mawanella hospital, where one of the victims later passed away.
