Naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command, arrested a person with 50 kg of Kerala Cannabis in the seas North of Point Pedro this morning on Sunday, the Navy said. A dinghy used for the transportation of cannabis and related gear onboard were also taken into naval custody.
The arrested person and belongings were handed over to Kankesanthurei Police for onward action.
