A person with 538g of Kerala cannabis in his possession was taken into custody on Monday during a raid conducted by Naval personnel in Dewata area, Galle.
Accordingly, a group of naval personnel attached to the Southern Naval Command in coordination with STF personnel – Rathgama arrested this suspect for possessing Kerala cannabis. The apprehended person has been identified as a resident of Galle, aged 23.
The suspect along with cannabis was handed over to Galle Police for onward investigation.
