One injured in shooting at Kalutara North
A 57-year old man was injured in a shooting that took place in Kalutara North at 10:35 pm yesterday (Dec 01).
The shooting was carried out by an unidentified individual who was travelling by car, police said.
The victim who has been identified as Pathiranage Patrick Peris, and a resident of Kalutara North, is currently undergoing treatment at the Kalutara Nagoda Hospital.
Kalutara Police have commenced an immediate investigation to determine the cause of the shooting and to arrest the suspect.
