One killed, another injured due to earthslips in Wanduramba
A woman has died after an earth embankment collapsed on two houses in Wanduramba, Galle today (Sept 23).
Police said that heavy rains in the area had caused landslips in the area.
The victim, a 36-year old had died upon admission to the Karapitiya Teaching hospital.
Meanwhile, another differently abled-woman who was also injured in the incident has been admitted to the Wanduramba Hospital.
