One shot and killed near Hulftsdorp, gunman also dead

Two persons died after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital following a shooting and a subsequent mob attack near the courts complex in Hulftsdorp, Colombo 12 this evening. 

Police said the two persons had been allegedly involved in trafficking. A 38-year-old individual had first been shot and wounded near the court complex. The alleged gunman had then been caught and assaulted by onlookers. Both men were admitted to the Colombo National Hospital but succumbed to their injuries. 

The deceased are yet to be identified. (CK)
