One stabbed to death following altercation at party

Police investigations are underway to arrest a suspect who allegedly stabbed a person to death in Makuluwa, Galle last night (1).

The incident had occurred following an altercation between the two individuals that broke out at a liquor party, according to police. 

The 38-year-old victim was admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries. 

The suspect has fled the area and investigations are underway to arrest him.
