Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif called on President Maithripala Sirisena today at the Presidential Secretariat.
The Army Chief and President Sirisena discussed about the cooperation and collaboration between the two countries on issues pertaining to regional security.
They emphasized the importance of working with close cooperation to ensure mutual interests in security activities.
Secretary to the President P. B. Abeykoon, Secretary of Defence U. B. Basnayake and Army commander Lieutenant General Chrishantha de Silva were among those participated at this event.
