Parents in Seruwila have taken to the streets to protest the lack of teachers for their children at a school in the area.
More than 300 demonstrators claimed that there were no teachers for the Ordinary level and advanced level classes. Some 15 parents are alleged to have begun a fast unto death till the situation is resolved.
