Printing of passports and confidential state documents presently being done by foreign printing agencies, will be handed over to the Department of Government Printing.
The Cabinet of Ministers has given its consent this week to a decision made by the Minister of Mass Communication over the purchase of printing equipment for the purpose of printing passports.
The Cabinet has instructed the Department of Planning to submit a detailed assessment of this project.
