The Peliyagoda Interchange on the Colombo - Katunayake Expressway (E03) will be closed from October 4- 20 owing to the construction of the New Kelani Bridge, Police said.
In a statement motorists travelling to Katunayake were advised to seek alternative routes as the entrance to the Expressway at the Peliyagoda Interchange has been temporarily closed off.
A short while later, the official car of the Commander of the Navy, bearing plate NAHA 5006, departed from Navy House, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
