Speaker Karu Jayasuriya in response to last evening's ruling by the Supreme Court on the 12 FR petitions filed against the dissolution of Parliament, has released a statement last evening saying the people can take pride in the judiciary.
He further said that the judiciary has "rise to the occasion and has treated this matter of great national importance with due urgency and deliberation.
He also urged also Sri Lankans to peacefully accept the determination of the judiciary and the Parliament
