Two unidentified individuals have carried out a petrol bomb attack on a shop in Jaffna yesterday (Jul 3), police said.
According to the Police, two children and an elderly person had sustained minor injuries as they were in the vicinity of the shop at the time of the incident.
The shop had been damaged completely as a result of the fire which had broken out subsequently, police noted.
A search operation is underway to locate and apprehend the suspects.
