PM organises dinner for UNP MP's as party members prepare for Matara rally
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has organised a dinner banquet for United National Party (UNP) members tomorrow (Aug 22), in the backdrop of tomorrow’s rally in Matara.
The rally is expected to take place tomorrow afternoon in support of UNP Deputy Leader Minister Sajith Premadasa.
However, sources at the Prime Minister’s office said that the parliamentary group and the working committee of the party have been invited to attend the dinner.
Matters concerning the future political activities of the party are expected to be discussed at the gathering.
